NATALYA CRITCHLEY

Painting

The urban landscape continues to inspire the stories which form the basis of my paintings, in which my stock of symbolic chracters play a variety of roles. To these are added elements from my love of Persian art and textiles and the work of artists that I'm interested in from Paul Klee to Philip Guston. Painting is my great passion, it is such a rich and verstile medium that I think one lifetime is hardly long enough to encompass it.
