Un mes de encuentros con artistas, escritoras, curadoras, abogadas, músicos, comunicadoras sociales y urbanistas en una revisión de la representación femenina, el feminismo y la relación con su práctica. Tambien se hablará sobre los derechos humanos, el rol y el espacio de la mujer en la ciudad, tanto como su vivencia dentro del discurso político.

A month of meetings between artists, writers, curators, lawyers, musicians, journalists and urbanists for a revision of female representation and feminism and it’s relation to our practice. We will also talk about human rights, the roles and spaces for women in the city, and our experience of political discourse.

An ecological story tells how Venus awakens to the shocking reality of an industrial city on the site of the precolombian village where she once lived, the very same place Walter Raleigh went looking for El Dorado. A tale of contamination and salvation with frogs and engineers, businessmen and mayors who discover that bio-digestors and flying carpets could make all the difference. The exhibition includes drawings, paintings and interactive installations.

`La sed de Venus’ es un cuento ecológico infantil.  Venus se despierta a la realidad abrumadora de la ciudad industrial construida sobre el sitio donde vivía hace 500 annos en una comunidad precolombina, al mismo sitio donde había llegado Walter Raleigh buscando El Dorado. Una historia de contaminación y salvación con sapos e ingenieros, empresarios y alcaldes quienes descubren que los bio-digestores y las alfombras voladoras pueden hacer toda la diferencia.
